Why we are doing this

Rakan Tutor

Rakan Tutor began as a nonprofit offering free one-to-one tutoring during the pandemic, helping students overcome learning loss. Today, we’re building on that legacy by equipping youths with AI and tech innovation skills to prepare them for the future.

With AI and automation transforming industries, millions of jobs in ASEAN, particularly in low-skilled sectors, are at risk of being displaced. By 2030, 28 million jobs in the region could be lost due to AI-driven changes. Underserved youth, already facing limited access to education, are most vulnerable to these disruptions.

To address this, we are now focusing on AI and tech innovation programs. These programs will help young people gain the skills needed to thrive in a tech-driven world. By investing in their education today, we can empower them to build brighter futures, reduce economic disparities, and ensure they are not left behind in the face of technological change.
